Climate

22 miles from Yucatan Industrial Park, the international Port of Progreso allows access of ships with up to a 36 ft. draft. Cargo vessels, including container ships, can make use of the port's facilities. A 4-lane highway provides 15 min. direct transportation of raw materials and finished goods to and from the Port.

Geographical Location

Mexico's "Door to the Caribbean", the Yucatan Peninsula, is approximately 600 nautical miles distant from Houston, New Orleans, Miami and Fort Lauderdale.
